Schoolwide
Enrichment Model (SEM)
Our Schoolwide Enrichment Model (SEM) engages all MPE students in
memorable activities to enhance the existing curriculum. (Go to the SEM page of our site to learn
about our SEM units at each grade level.) For each SEM unit, the grade level team
works collaboratively to expand the required curriculum into high
quality/high interest instructional plans. New Science Georgia Performance
Standards (GPS) will be implemented this year in grades 3-5, and new SEM
units are being created to enrich the new curriculum. Each SEM activity provides opportunities
for all students to develop and communicate their skills and knowledge.
