Duffy and Maggie The first day of summer vacation 6 years ago, Mr. A brought home an 8 week old Scottie puppy. He looked like a “beanie-baby.” Thank goodness he was adorable, because for the next 2 years, Duffy ate his way through the house…the windowsills, wallpaper, table legs, chair legs…… I finally had to totally redo the kitchen! Duffy is a very happy dog and shows you by his “smile.” Two years ago Mr. A talked me into adopting a rescue Scottie. We named her Maggie. She was not housebroken, had never walked on a leash, or knew what a toy was, and she was 4 years old! She quickly caught on by following everything that Duffy did. She is still afraid of many things, but boy does she like to go on walks now! She has Mr. A totally trained and completely rules the “roost.”
