Nov 26-30, 2007

· This week our focus will be the letter Ll, letter i word families, ordinal numbers, celebrations around the world.

· Vocabulary Word of the week- vacation (children should be able to use this word in a sentence orally)

· Words of the Week- I word families

· Please have your child practice their lunch number at home. Practice punching it in on the paper keypad. All children at MPE are in the process of doing this. If your child doesn’t know their number, it slows down the line and keeps everyone from enjoying a 30 minute lunch.

· Now that the weather is cooler, you might want to send in warmer clothes for your child’s “emergency clothes.” Accidents happen!

· Wednesday is an Early Release Day.

Homework

Monday- Complete pages 7-14 in the “Family Ties” practice booklet

Tuesday- Complete the worksheet on Ll

Wednesday- Complete pages 15-22 in the booklet

Thursday- trace and write your first and last name neatly

Friday- Bring something for the letter Ll.

Return all homework for a treat.
