Old Business
Front Office – do
we want to meet with PTA to discuss options? Concerns?
- Discussion
regarding whether we should move forward with plans to raise money through
a PTA fundraiser, grants, or if we should wait until it is included in the
next SPLOST (2010 - 2011)
- Estimated
cost of $22 per student, recommended that we look for business sponsors,
fundraising options, and emphasize enhancement student safety
- Is
there a possibility of “credit” towards the future SPLOST? (from this
year’s credit)
- Next
step: meet with PTA (Jan. 6th, executive meeting at 8:30) to discuss options and planning
needs (research grants, contact possible business sponsors, and
fundraising options), contact the county about a credit towards the SPLOST

Technology
- New
lab is up and running, the equipment is installed and connected for 4th
and 5th grade, all new equipment has been distributed to grade
levels
- Personnel
changes: Harriet Collingwood retired, Richard Ziemba has moved from 5th
grade to the school technology specialist position, and Ms. McNamara was
hired to fill the 5th grade position
- Discussion
of county plan (implementation of the FCS technology plan and goals)

- Annual
Performance Report, comments on achievements and how Mountain
Park compares to the county
Service Project
- Discussion
of the standing policy on service projects (communicated through Student
Council)

- Establish
standards for business partners (donation or contribution)
- Theresa
Brimer is retiring, Karri Allman is replacing her in January
