The Mountain Park PTA is a part of the North Fulton Council PTA (www.nfcpta.com), District 10

PTA, Georgia PTA (www.georgiapta.org), and National PTA (pta.org).  Membership in these

organizations serves to combine our efforts with others and leverage our common voice.

Together, we are a powerful voice for our children.  With your contribution and help, the Mountain

Park PTA can continue to work toward its goal of facilitating a quality education and providing a

nurturing environment for every child.

The Mission of the PTA is to:

·               Speak on behalf of children at government, school and other community organizations

          responsible for policies affecting children.

·               Assist parents in developing the necessary skills to raise and protect their children.

·               Encourage parent and public involvement in the nation’s public schools.

The Purpose of the PTA is to:

·               Promote children’s welfare in the home, school, community, and place of worship.

·               Raise home life standards.

·               Secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children.

·               Align the efforts of parents and teachers to improve the education of children.

·               Unite public and institutional efforts to provide the best physical, mental, social,

                and spiritual education of our children.
