Mountain Park Elementary TAG Teacher Katie Searcy is at it again. A respected National Board Certified Teacher, Katie has extended herself by sharing her knowledge as a presenter at the National Conference for National Board Certified Teachers held in San Diego and at the International Space Station Educators Conference in Houston. She will be presenting at the Georgia Association for Gifted Children Conference in March and has been selected to serve as the Educator Facilitator for NASA Explorer Schools at Kennedy Space Center. The most recent awards for Katie include the Georgia Science Teachers Foundation Award and winner of the “Ideas from our Educators” contest sponsored by the History Channel. See original Fulton Co.
