Turn off lights in rooms/halls when not in use.
Plant trees to shade or wind barriers.
Make “how to” videos about conservation.
Use the announcements to share conservation ideas.
Make posters to educate students, parents, teachers, etc. about conservation.
Turn off the water when you are done washing your hands.
Keep exterior doors closed to maintain building temperature.
Turn off computers/equipment when not in use.
Try to “go paperless” in your classroom. Put assignments on the board, use whiteboards or other things to show knowledge instead of a worksheet.
Share classroom newsletters, etc. via email or website instead of copying them on paper.
