April, 2008
Each year Keep Roswell Beautiful honors one school that has gone above and beyond in the environmental field. At a ceremony at Roswell City Hall last night, MPE was named the Environmental School of the Year.
Teachers spearheading our recycling of plastic, aluminum, and cardboard are Heather Welch and Kati Searcy. Yanique Michaud continues to work with Mary Cerny and Emily Ziegler to improve our environmental focus in maintaining the school grounds. Congratulations to all of the students, staff, and community members supporting our efforts to recycle. What a wonderful honor!
