ISS Assembly Mission 2 A

On Monday morning, Nov. 5th, space shuttle Discovery is scheduled to undock from the ISS while the pair are gliding over RoswellGA!!!

The two spaceships will cut across a glittering expanse of morning stars dotted by bright planets and a Venus-Moon conjunction.  There is also the possibility of a comet in the mix as well.

To see the International Space Station (ISS) and the Shuttle from Roswell, step out into an open dark area about 5:45 a.m. Monday morning.  You should see two points of lights moving slowly across the night sky, beginning low on the SSW horizon about 5:49 a.m. and rising to about halfway up in the sky two minutes later.  The lights will then descend towards the ENE horizon by 5:54.
